Uneven Check-In Experience
Spacious, clean, comfy
Our check-in experience was disappointing. We arrived about an hour before the official check-in time and politely asked if it was possible to access our room early. The staff member informed us that the room wasn’t ready and said he would notify us once it was available. However, we noticed that other guests, who arrived earlier and were assisted by the same staff member, were allowed to proceed directly to their rooms. We chose not to make an issue of it at the time, but after waiting 45 minutes with no update, we approached a different staff member. He promptly checked and handed us our room keys, indicating the room had been ready after all. This experience left us feeling somewhat overlooked, if not discriminated against. We hope the hotel ensures that all guests are treated with the same courtesy and fairness, especially when everyone is paying the same rate.

What was the highlight of Ascott Makati
Ascot Makati was exceptional for us though it could be improved still.
We really liked that from the entrance and check in the guards were greeting us with such enthusiasm. Ms Pearl was the one who checked us in and she made check in so smooth and breezy. We booked the 3 bedroom suite and there were 4 of us and she gave us 4 card keys which is what we appreciated the most in case any of us wanted to leave the apartment. The beds were comfy although the suite looked very outdated. The location is right across Glorietta and beside Landmark which is a plus. The suite comes with a washer/ dryer in one so we really liked that as it was able to lessen our load during our vacation. We also liked the pool and gym. The 3 bedroom suite we got was super spacious so we liked that too.
There was no smart tv (no Netflix) and a lot of the things in the suite look very dated. The tv in the entire suite is very inconsistent. The masters tv was more updated whereas the living room and the rest of the rooms had a very old tv with broken volume. Some toilets had lower water pressure and loose tiles. I feel like if you’re charging an arm and a leg the customers should feel compensated for it.

It was good overall with a late check out.
Room upgrade was perfect as I intended to relax & catch up on some sleep before flying back home.
Finding the property parking was a bit confusing and also going to lobby.
